- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Make a well in the centre, and pour in milk, egg and oil. Mix until smooth.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake

Kia ora Viola,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Mikey. I'm a member of the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ) team, along with Patricia, Lee, Izzy and Sophie. I'm going to be reading your wonderful blog today and commenting on some of your SLJ posts. :)
Yum! I love pancakes too! They tend to be a bit of a treat in our household so I don't have them very often but when I do, I eat them with lots of golden syrup and strawberries. Sometimes banana and bacon too. Do you have anything else on your's? Or just maple syrup? I've just moved into a new house and I feel like that's a good reason to have a special pancake breakfast this weekend! :) I might just try out your recipe.
It's great to see that you've been engaging with the SLJ programme over your summer holidays. I look forward to reading more posts from you soon. Until then, happy blogging! :)
